German weekly Die Zeit reports that, in 2002, a court in Cologne convicted infamous Florida pastor Terry Jones (he who wants to burn the Quran) for falsely claiming he was a PhD. In Germany, that’s a felony punishable by a prison sentence of up to one year (though Jones, it seems, got away with a EUR 3,000 fine.)
